"Around Home" Series by Linda Root Cooper

 

I have been observing and photographing gardens others' - and mine for many years. (Collecting floral fabric serves as bad weather substitute.)

Several summers ago, I saw a beautiful floral image that had been created using a flat bed scanner. I went home and immediately tried it but found the images static. Then I remembered my various stashes of happily collected  antique fabric. For the most part, flowers and leaves are from my garden or greenhouse. I use photo editing software ONLY to tidy up the images-  for example, to remove dust or pollen.

When enlarged, these flowers look "just picked." They bring the garden in for home or offices. For more information,
