"Around Home" Series by Linda Root Cooper

I have been observing and photographing gardens others' - and mine for many years. (Collecting floral fabric serves as bad weather substitute.)

Several summers ago, I saw a beautiful floral image that had been created using a flat bed scanner. I went home and immediately tried it but found the images static. Then I remembered my various stashes of happily collected  antique fabric. For the most part, flowers and leaves are from my garden or greenhouse. I use photo editing software ONLY to tidy up the images-  for example, to remove dust or pollen.

When enlarged, these flowers look "just picked." They bring the garden in for home or offices. For more information, please contact me    Click here to see new work.
